A place to leave something written and walk away from it.

Nothing here carries a name. Not the writing of people who made an account, not the writing of people who did not. There are no profiles, no followers and no way to build a reputation — which means there is nothing to protect, and you can write the true thing instead of the safe one.

An account is optional and is only an email address. It keeps a private list of what you have written and what you have marked, and lets you take any of it down again. It changes nothing about how your writing appears.

Everything is read once by a machine before it appears, so that nothing here becomes a legal problem for the site. That review is narrow on purpose — what it actually looks for is a short list, and anger, grief, doubt and profanity are not on it.

Posting without an account gives you a one-time key. Because nothing here carries a name, that key is the only thing that proves a piece is yours — keep it and you can take the writing down whenever you want. It is shown once, on the page you land on after posting, and it cannot be sent again. Lose it and the piece stays up.
